This conference is in honour of Sudhir Ghorpade on the occasion of his 60th birthday.

 

The conference will feature talks by invited speakers from across the world and selected poster presentations.

​

All interested are welcome to participate and are required to register.

Deadline for submission of extended abstracts for poster presentation is now over. Final list of selected posters and schedule of presentation appears below.

About IITH

Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH) is a premier institute of science and technology established in 2008. IITH has been consistently ranked in the top 10 institutes in India for Engineering according to NIRF making it one of the most coveted schools for science and technology in the country. The minor program in entrepreneurship is open to all students of IITH, and many of the courses are offered by industrialists who are entrepreneurs themselves. IITH has been very successful in building tie-ups with leading academic institutions around the globe. IITH enjoys a very special relationship with Japanese universities and industries that goes beyond academic and research collaborations. In fact, some of the iconic buildings in IITH campus will carry the signature of Japanese architecture. IITH creates a unique holistic ecosystem for education that offers interactive learning, a very flexible academic structure, cutting-edge research, strong industry collaboration, and entrepreneurship. This is an environment which enables students and faculty to translate their dreams into realities.

Boarding & Lodging

We expect to accommodate all the speakers and participants at the IIT Hyderabad Guest House, subject to availability of rooms.

An accommodation at the guest house comes with a complimentary breakfast. The other meals, namely, lunch, dinner and coffee breaks, will be organized at the venue of the conference or at the guest house. 

Special Issue on Recent Advances in Algebraic Geometry,
Coding Theory and Combinatorics

The Journal of Algebra and its Applications will publish a Special Issue, which will be dedicated to Professor Sudhir Ghorpade on the occasion of his sixtieth birthday.

Authors should use the web submission system of JAA. Please select this special issue, and choose one of the guest editors as handling editor.

 

All the manuscripts submitted for Professor Ghorpade’s Special Issue will be peer reviewed and accepted only if they meet the JAA’s standards. If some accepted papers cannot fit in the special issue or are outside the scope, the article(s) will be forwarded to the JAA for consideration in a regular issue. The published paper will contain a note dedicated to Professor Ghorpade.
